Our Story

Gentle Balance was born from a chance meeting between two passionate travelers, Emma and James, in a small café in Bali in 2010. Sharing their frustrations with mass tourism and their dreams of more meaningful travel, they decided to create a tour operator that would prioritize authentic experiences, environmental sustainability, and genuine cultural exchange.

What began with just three destinations and a handful of trusted local partners has grown into a respected international tour operator offering curated journeys across six continents. Despite our growth, we've maintained our boutique approach, ensuring personalized service and attention to every detail of your travel experience.
